Garry Kasparov is a Russian professional chess player, author and politician who was born on April 13, 1963 in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. He is best known for becoming the youngest world chess champion and winning international chess tournaments.

Kasparov learned to play chess at the age of 6 and became the young world champion at the age of 13. In 1985, he was recognized as the youngest world champion in the World Chess Championship and kept this title until 1990. Kasparov is known as one of the best chess players in history and has won many international chess tournaments.

In addition to playing chess, Kasparov also works as a writer and politician. He has written several books on chess and politics, and in 2005 he was elected as one of the leaders of the Russian opposition and a candidate for the presidency of Russia in the 2008 elections. But in the end, he gave up this election and works as a political activist and fighter for human rights and democracy in Russia.

As for Kasparov's personal life, he has been married twice and has two sons and a daughter. He is very fond of music and considers himself a composer. Also, he is fond of running and physical exercises and is known as one of the active people in the movement to promote health and sports in the society.
